We offer sub-contract elevated temperature testing with fully controlled heating and cooling profiles which can be phased in sync or out of sync with other modes of control (load, stroke, strain) as required. Even where there is an existing international standard, such as TMF, our customers often want to replicate the conditions that their parts or materials see in service.
We can test samples at up to 2000°C*, with different heating methods to suit the sample geometry, material and test specifications.
In addition to the heating and cooling options, we also have a range of chambers and equipment for controlling the test environment, including:
- Induction heating
- Forced air cooling
- Pyrometry that can compensate for changes in emissivity of the sample surface
- Thermal imaging
- High temperature extensometry
High temperature testing and environmental testing can be carried out on any of our test laboratory machines from 120N up to 1.6MN (1600kN).
*UKAS accredited to 1,000°C.
