Phoenix engineers work with the customer to ensure that any test or test programme is as close to service conditions as possible, this includes selecting the appropriate loading, heating and cooling methods and rates, to avoid generating inaccurate or misleading data.
Where a customer does not have a detailed test specification, Phoenix will offer expert advice and guidance on defining the test, as well as designing fixtures and instrumentation, to give the widest range of appropriate and accurate data from any test carried out.
If a customer has a specification, either their own or their end customers, Phoenix can work to the defined requirements, including designing and manufacturing test fixtures to suit.
Each test will have a detailed contract review, and specific technical work procedure written to ensure that all test requirements and settings are defined and agreed prior to starting any job. Where the specifications change during a test based on the initial results, this is agreed and documented accordingly.
